OK, here's a little review on the Neovas! So far, I think they're pretty kick-***. The ride seems more firm than stock but I think it's because I'm on an 18 now. The turn-in is razor sharp with crisp edge-to-edge weight transfer. The tires have a nice square shoulder like the A046. The feedback these tires give you is great. You feel everything. The grip on the street feels just as good as the A046. I havn't done any auto-x or track events on the Neovas, so I don't know how they compare to the A046 there.

 

Is the finish on the rims a little rough, not clear coated? reason i ask is that i have the same wheels in a silver finish and the paint is kind of rough and was curious if all the solid colored volks are the same. thanks

 

The finish isn't high-gloss. It's a matte paint. My guess is that you have the Titanium Silver, which has a dull finish like the Bronze or Titanium Gunmetal. You can actually have custom colors done on Volk wheels. I believe it starts at $30 per wheel depending on what you want done. I've seen CE28Ns in solid colors that have been high-gloss … Diamond Black, Gunmetal, Mercury Silver.
