255/35/18 is the recommending size. 40 series will be a little bit taller and that might cause some rubbing issues.

18x9 +29, +22

18x1o +25, +15

Will the 17x9.5" work in any of those offsets?

I dont think they'd be thicker, but they wouldn't curve in as much.
