Im not feelin the gold rims either, good thing they're goin since they rub the bumper. But...i have a Thunder Gray Metallic Lancer OZ which is the same base color, just a little twist in the accent, but...i have Gunmetal 5 spoke wheels..and i must say...it looks terrific. Take a look...just a little preview of another choice of color that matches the color of the car.

no offense but being a fellow GG MR owner I don't like the wheel/color combo.... and i usually like bronze wheels.

Nah. Its not rubbing on my fenders. It was rubbing on my chargespeed bumper. But now its ok. Just had to grind it down a lil bit.

 

i think better pictures in a shadier place would look more flattering to the wheel/car combo. is that real do luck by the way?

 

paint the mesh black, put the stock bbs's back on, and take off that front plate. Then it will look good.

car looks good albert. good choice on getting different rims, but do what you like. is that the hood you got from me? looks good.

 

get side skirts and lower it. and paint or install the factory hood grill. that silver mess **** is ugly, i put the factory hood grill on my CF hood.
but i don't think it would look to bad once its' lowered

Just my .02! I think gold rims only look acceptable on certain colored cars like black, white, and some colors of blue. Like somebody else said its your car, do what you want.

 

Love the whole car except for the rims. Ive always disliked gold rims though.

 

I'm with the majority of the responses. I think you went the wrong direction with the car but life always gives you a second chance. This car can still be saved. With great power comes great responsibility.
