To all prospective Clear Cam Gear Cover owners: Think about this: you don't have to remove your cover to check your cams' advance/retard settings if the cover's clear.

Get them here: www.ZakleeCorp.com

Question

Hi Rob,
Quick question: What's the life expectancy (or at least your best guess) on this part inside the hot engine bay of an EVO in the heat of Miami???.
I know Polycarbonate is a pretty strong thermoplastic, but still wondering...
Thanks.

Revo - This part will be on the car when it goes to the landfill. Seriously, if you don't get gasoline, acetone, MEK, or other solvents on it, it'll be around a long, long time (solvents will fog it). Polycarb begins to melt at 375F. If it's ever 375 under your hood, call the fire department! My car seldom sees over 90C oil temp, which is around 180-190F.

just wondering if it comes with the 4 bolts that hold it on? Mine got "misplaced" when my cams were installed.
