Questions Regarding Monster Bumper

I really like the Gialla bumper, until I found out that I have to remove the crash beam in order to put it on.

I did a search and read that the Monster front bumper can be modified to fit onto a US-spec Evo without removing the crash beam? Is this true? I want to get a new bumper that will allow me to keep the crash beam, but I don't really like the Chokets bumper from GP Sports.

Also wondering if anybody has a picture of a Monster bumper in black?

Thanks for the help guys.

I'm just afraid that in the case of an accident (*knock on wood*), the insurance company will refuse to pay up.

Therefore, I'd prefer a bumper that will allow me to keep the bumper beam.

Thanks. I've been searching through EvoM, and so far I've come up with a few answers. Hopefully somebody can point out if I'm wrong.

1. Monster Sports front bumper can be modified to fit the IC sprayer and the front beam.

2. HKS Kansai front bumper does not require the removal of the front crash beam.

Are the above statements true?

Just trying to look good and be safe at the same time. With the reckless drivers in Boston and the New England winter, I guess it never hurts to play safe.

You need to cut part of the HKS bumper to fit it over the bumper beam.

Do you happen to know any shops capable of doing this? I asked around on the Northeast board for Boston-area shops, but nobody seems to know any.

I don't mind driving to NY, if that's what it takes to do it right.

Thanks!
