unless my eyes are playing tricks on me... the OEM fins are angled outwards unlike the other one which are straight down

have the ori VG on my ride, but if you see the real deal, the LaunSport's VG is much nicer...
I think this new VG looks nicer but something tells me it doesn't work like the OEM one does. On the stock part, the fins flare out as you go back and down but on the new one, the fins are pretty much the same thickness throughout. Not sure if this affects anything but I would think there would need to be more wind resistance to create a vortex. It all depends or whether or not you want to get this thing for looks or for a purpose. If the latter, I would trust the Mitsu R&D.
