Hey Ryne, we gotta go hit up a dyno after you get it tuned. I wanna see what kind of numbers youre putting down. The car looks really nice, and that BOV sounded awesome. Lol, a horse getting slapped in the face is a very good description of the sound. Good work yesterday.

 

It looks awesome! a lot better in person though. The blow off value sounds soo much better than the last one. Its really cool, but your exhaust is so loud its really hard to hear it some times. and i'm very happy to see that my *** didn't end up on this page! And it better not.....nick and ryne!

Hey guys, I just found out from RNR today that the shop that does all the thermal coatings is closed for the holday weekend, pushing everything back by about a week or two. Kinda sucks, but there is nothing I can do about it. I'll be going in for a tune a week from this friday and will hopefully make it to a dyno and post up some numbers.

if you can have a muffler shop put in 2 resinators (sp). the sound is sweet and not loud at all. Im running a custom 3" back from helix dp with 2 resinators and the magnaflow muffler. i wish i had a sound clip. nice deep growl and almost stock idle(other than the lump from my 272's )

 

Hey guys, just got my car back from AMS the other day. My car is running real strong.....hits about 21 psi and then tapers down to 19 psi once I get close to 7K. Still have some idle trouble because of the tial BOV. I'm thinking about selling the upper intercooler piping and BOV combo and then getting a recirculating BOV. We'll see how much of a PITA it is. My AFR stays around 11.8 according to Martin. It took him forever to tune my car because it had all these stupid things that would happen like they needed to weld a bung onto my DP for a wideband tuner, needed to swap out the springs for the BOV (original spring was too soft and leaked), the intake pipe blew off, the intercooler piping blew off......so many little things that cause a lot of delays. Oh well, the car is done! I will hopefully be hitting up the dyno in the next week or so!

I also found out that my turbo kit just shipped the other day so it should be hear soon! I'll post some pics as soon as it comes!

 

Hey guys, haven't been keeping up with the thread. I changed my setup a little....swapped out the Buschur Intercooler piping/Tial BOV for some AMS intercoolering piping and a Greddy Type-S. My idle sucked and my car ran poorly with the BOV. Thought I could get away with it, but the MAF won the battle. Oh well, car is running solid now.

As for the turbo kit, it's sitting in an unopened box in my room. I'm moving up away for school and I need to sell it. Here is the thread for the sale.
