RS emblem solution...

Most dont even know the RS option was on the VII(winged) over in Europe too. AC equiped RS's really arent much lighter than reg Evos as Mitsu claims, but the goal of RS worldwide is to appeal to purist drivers or race teams who plan to trim or race the car further who dont want/need non-sense electrical stuff in the way that would otherwise fail in a high vibration/water environment. RS 5-speed is of different ratio than the GSR 5-speed based on the JDM cars spec sheet. It would be nice to know if that remains true on USDM cars. My car will have no crash beams soon so there is another true 45lb savings for the dieters. RS fuel tank holds about 2 less gallons also. My car has never taken more than 13 gallons at the pump. I am not an expert at group-n rally rules but that is what the car was built for I believe, not an American drag race sleeper as most boy racers assume. The RS in Japan doesnt even have the Brembos and has 15" steel wheels with the intent of cost savings for race teams who will replace that stuff anyway, but JDM RS does have the wing! Besides the Subie emblem I wish my Evo had the low end torque of the 2.5 WRX as well....ahhhhh 2.4L Galant block......one day?
Thanks for all the
Again, another option if it gets under your skin that bad that would look closer to the 'MR' and have a 'true' mitsu part number for you Subie HATERS would be the satin looking 'RS' that comes on the base eclipses from last years body...(much worse car with ZERO heritage than a WRX) I might even buy one and shoot it red to see what it would look like? Its alot cheaper btw@$20
