IMO big fogs on an EvoVIII is gonna look pretty ugly... the body is way too rounded (especially the front end) unlike the boxier older Evo's. CT9A's look more like a family sedan than a rally car

closest thing I can think of are the bolt-on rally light pods:

pretty badass if you ask me. if I still ran canyons at night, I'd get a set.

Only problem is that you'd have to figure out a new location for the oil cooler.

Not really, see how there's still a little vent on the side of the foglights. It looks like air would still get in there.

I did run across those rally pods in my search for a new front bumper. I don't like how far they stick out. I want them mounted flush like the EVO5 had. I am definately willing to do an oil cooler relocation kit. I wounder if that is the main reason no one offers a aftermarket bumper with the big fogs, because of the oil cooler?

I love the Evolution 5! I would trade my 8 for the 5, no questions asked.
Closes thing I have to the Evo 5 is the stock Evo 5 rims I got for my winter wheels.

Those rally pods look pretty cool. I've seen them on the STi's and tried to convince my friends to get them, but yeah they kinda stick out a bit much. I'd just be worried about them getting cracked at speeds.

Please don't flame me for posting a picture of a Subaru. I love these big driving lights. They are PIAA XT 80 Pro pencil beam. I want those mounted flush (just like this Subaru) on my EVO. The pod option just makes them stick out too far...

Actually, more like this. Please note that it has huge intakes for the oil cooler, no relocation would be required. I just can't believe that no one offers a kit for the EVO8 that looks like this.

yeah, they do stick out a bit...

the full hood and bumper pod setup looks

but AFAIK, no one makes a bumper or a kit that integrates driving lights any better than that. gonna have to be a custom-job.

With an aftermarket fiberglass bumper you can just cut and paste the bumper to fit the lights with more fiberglass.
