I have 35% all around and got ticketed twice! They actually pulled over my car just for the tint violation both on rainy days. I had to redo my front ones 3 times so far.

I had 20% on my old wrx and at night if it wasn't a well lit street I couldn't see **** on tight turns that you look through the side windows. Parking at night also required me to put my window down to see the curb in the mirror. I haven't put tint on my Evo but if I was I would go with the 35%. It's not as dark as I would like but at night you'll be able to drive with less visibility problems.

Ive got 5% all around and 15% on the back in one of my eclipses... no tickets in 6 years but it isnt easy to see. I put 35% on my evo and its really not dark at all... Id say 20% is about right.
