To clear it up, basically you pull your stock lights out, clip off the bulb, connect the wire that was connected to you bulb into the HID kit. From there another wire is sticking out and thats what you connect to the HID bulb and just stick the bulb into the car housing. Btw, the car uses 9006 bulb for low beams and if you want dual xenon, its 9005 kit for the Hi-beams.

ouch, that i didn't know. I guess I lucked out and bought a set before. Are fog light kits banned or just head light kit? If it's just headlight kit that is banned, fog light kit will work because thats what i did.

So did you upgrade you stock HIDs or replace the stock bulbs for a HID kit? My Evo already has low beam HIDs.

well since 05 had halogen, i just replaced the bulb for a KIT. In your situation, if you want the same bulb and what not, you just switch out the bulb that is the same size as your stock HID. Call a dealership and ask them the size of the HID bulb and that will help you find what you need. I am on the stock OEM bulbs that lexus and BMW use. It's the phillips 6000k

Im not seeing any HID kits on his site. Im pretty sure he sold off his stock of HID kits when they made them illegal. I remember the thread he made on BimmerForums way back when.

Xenon Depot has a 4300k, 9006 kit for 380 so I may go with them.

I just bought my HID Kit from Xenon To and My MR Headlight Housing. Now did your car come orignally with Hid's and you upgraded the brightness or did you have no Hid's and upgraded to them? Also since my threed in General is getting no attention. Does anyone know what one would need to add Fog Lights to a EVO that didn't come with Fog Lights? I have the MR Headlight housing now so I have the slot to do it.
