not so much for downforce, but less overall drag as the low pressure area behind the car will pull the air out from behind the bumper. At least that's the theory, according to a race-car aerodynamics book I have...

Dude, looks sick. That is the one issue I still have with my car on the track. I know Robispec makes undercarriage aerodynamics, and the Vishnu piece is sick, but like $595, so it's something to consider.
