Does anyone know if it's possible to keep the OEM Infinity amp when changing the HU on an EVO equipped with the SSL package from the factory?

I'm planning on upgrading my headunit in the next week and would like to know what i'm getting into, thanks in advance

I'm running a PIONEER headunit on my infinity amp/speakers/sub, sounds PERFECT!

Nice and loud, with awesome hard hitting bass, without being obnoxiously loud

Any way to use the sub out on an aftermarket deck to allow variable control over the sub separate of the speakers? I think HU, aftermarket amp, and replacing the stock sub with an aftermarket one in the same enclosure will be my solution. We'll see how that goes.

yea, you just need the soundgate interface; mitsamp. And that will solve the time and money required to bypass the factory amp...
