So heatwrap is only used to keep heat in whatever it's wrapped around? It couldn't be used for, I don't know, keeping heat out of the already chilled air making it's way to the TB? Maybe even keep the coolness in the intake pipe?

Why dont you clock the turbo so the outlet is straight up and run the piping right to the air/water IC?

Seems like that would be a benefit of having one anyway.

Yeah, that was a real RHD V but the owner is a complete douche bag. I met him a while back @ Atco raceway here in Jersey and the owner was so into himself it wasn't even funny. If you asked him any questions he would look at you like you weren't worth his time. DOUCHE BAG. I 'm not very fond of the guy. Love the car though, that thing is fast

The car runs both Air to Air and Air to Water. The piping is arranged to accomidate both the FMIC and the Liquid one.

The wrap is there to MAINTAIN temps. It is not an issue of letting heat out or in.
If you understand how heat and velocity work in a particular setup then you will be able to see what we have done. The wrap keeps a steady temp while increasing velocity thru the bends and into the straights. Then THRU the Liquid to Air core.
The FMIC is used for daily driving. The Liquid to Air unit comes on with a flick of the switch for the track.

Yes we made both cores to fit as you describe. The setup is very efficient and recommended.

You were able to fix the roof as well? That's good to hear.

Yup new roof. Have some friends at mitsu.
The car was in on Monday and out on Thursday
She made 400 on the MD dyno today on pump gas and 21 psi.
She is running strong.
We have a show to attend this Saturday and we were hoping to catch the final qualifying round of Nopi this weekend. Hopefully we will. I would like to get a 10.9
That would be great for her as she is not a drag queen
Set up for the road only.

At least you came to the event. It was nice to see so many Evo's there to beat up on the subbies.
