I prefer the metric read out myself, but Defi has _just_ introduced their imperial unit BF series, check it out (1st sentence at the top):

Did you change the bulbs behind the dial stickers to amber too?

Yes, but I actually bought the red kit (from Z_Lancer_Man) instead of the amber kit. It matches the gauges better, but doesn't QUITE match the gauge cluster. I'm not too bothered by it myself.

Hey, what's up man, I recognize those. I just joined, I was the silver 05 evo on top of the nvidia parking garage last friday.

That looks hot. I'll have to look into getting that center mount. How long does an install like that take?

Hey dude you made it! What was your name again?

Yeah uh the install took me quite a while, I take my time though. Made a custom grommet for the firewall, wireloomed everything, etc. I still haven't even tapped for the EGT probe yet, waiting on a new fitment from prostreet.

Actual working time on the car was probably in the area of 2-2.5 hours for the boost/oil press. Total time was more like 4 hours with countless trips to ****ing OSH for tools and ****. It's really simple to do though, and installing the gauge panel/relocating the radio is really the easiest part.

If you get this (I recommend hitting up cal @ gruppe-s, good pricing; no I have no affiliation w/ them) I will help ya out for sure.

So the gauge lettering is more red than the cluster? I can't really tell from the pics.

It really depends on the lighting around you. The gauge cluster can be red/amber or more amber/red, you know? The defis are very bright amber/red when turned up all the way (say in the daytime) but at night, on the lower setting that I have them set at, they turn more red. I suppose it's a function of the bulbs based on voltage?

At any rate the camera didn't really capture the spread of lighting very well, it's not so good for dark conditions. The gauge cluster/gauges/center console lights are all very close at night, and during the day minimally off from one another.
