opinions on possible look for my car?

It's an '03 evo...gonna get a C-west kit, Cf hood, CF trunk, CF fenders, CF engine stuff (cam cover, radiator shroud, spark plug cover), CF mirrors, Sand/clearcoat my CF wing, and dark window tint....gonna paint the whole thing black. Should I paint all the CF stuff black too, or leave it CF?

Do what you think looks good, but if your spending all the money on cf might as well leave it.

why paint it unless you have a black car and want it to look clean. if you paint it its gonna look ricey... like the stereotypical civic owners who cant afford cf hoods so they paint it black. leave it cf and show its fine weave.

The whole car would be black, not silver. All black panels, Just wondering if I should paint the CF panels also, or just leave 'em.

+1. Visualize what you would like to see, make yourself happy with the car, it's yours

are you being reallllll ambitious or are you really gonna throwdown is what i'd like to know lol.

imo, if you're going to paint your car do something different not just black. i used to like a bunch of cf but it's getting kind of annoying to me. i say leave all your cf pieces naked, but paint your stock parts whatever color you paint your car.

paint it candy apple red like the 760 in 'Taxi' !!!

I think you should color the fender or else its gonna look funny. But honestly, since i'm sure you're for the show factor, you should leave it. I mean honestly, how much performace can you get from going aluminum to cf, they both are light as ****.

if u paint the cf hood/trunk black, what's the point of getting the CF stuff?

If u paint it all, you wont even know that it's a carbon fiber hood or trunk..

And it's not like its a weight savings... the factory aluminum parts are light as hell..

My suggestion would be to leave the carbon stuff unpainted..

+1 CF isnt much lighter than the stock aluminum pieces. So if you want to paint it black just paint over the stock pieces and save $$$. Unless money is not an issue and you want to save 2lbs

I'm not a big CF fender fan either. That RX-7 in the latest Modified Mag for example . . . the CF front end on that paint just looks weird to me. I'd say DON'T get the CF fenders but get everything else and leave it naked . . . show off the CF!!!
