Did you have to modify rear bumper a little bit?
I have same set up as yours HKS Hi-power + IX rear bumper but mine rubs pretty bad and my bumper got melted a bit.

Man that is so sweet! But, I've always wanted to see what a black evo with IX bumper wingless would look like. If you ever go wingless, post pics because I want to see how it will look.

I am just curious as I want to do the same thing with my Evo IX MR when I get it.
That is if it has the same lights as shown on the right.
You can paint the light cover, it's plastic. Or you can take it off and tint it from the inside.

Since the HKS is angled, I had to use a utility knife to shave the bumper. It did melt a little after driving so I shaved off a little more. The canister does touch but not much.

I suggest a Dremel and some masking tape. Should get a nice curved edge. You can draw your line on the tape and follow it as a guide.

Are you using the HKS Hi power exhaust because if you are then I dont know why its angled so much. On mine it fits perfect without cutting and only angles a bit.

I'd like to know as well because I also have an A'Pexi GT Spec exhaust and I'm thinking about getting the JDM IX rear, but if it sticks out 3 inches I'm gonna have to pass on it.
