I cant compare the T1S to the T1R, but after putting some "sprited" miles on my T1Rs I have drawn a few conclusions;
As an all around tire(winter excluded) these tires are very nice. Dry traction/roadholding is slightly less than the stock Advans, but wet traction is greatly improved. If you want a track tire, these are probably not for you, but if a good wet/dry tire is what you are after, than look no further as you will not be let down. Road noise is what you would expect from a tire with a tread pattern of this nature. As for my plans for track use, I will run down my stockers, and then hope that the NEW Toyo RA8 is out. Inside info from Toyo says they are due in the spring with revised tread pattern from the RA1 as well as some new hey-wow rubber compound.
