please tell me your kidding, right!! your evo asked me to tell you never ever to do that again!!!! and if you are dumb enough to spary water into your engine bay, at least attempt to dry it off...never let it just air dry!!!!!

btw, next time you clean it! a simple rag and engine detailer and some polish will do....

i am assuming you use a carwash.. first no-no.. but i barely drive the car so its always handwashed esp. my new 05.. when spraying, just throw a plastic bag over the air cleaner, and dont spray directly in the spark plug cover.. otherwise spray away... also you have a factory hood, so you can ditch the factory airbox lid.. rain water will stay out as long as you kept the moldings on the factory hood...

I am in the Buff area on occassion and I have seen your evo at the walmart on niagara falls blvd. Do you guys have get togethers or anything. I am not sure if you have seen my car around but I have the blue one with the black rims w/ polished lip. I like the carbon fiber lip as well.

I never used the automatic carwash. Even in winter, I wash my own car. Plus, my car's too low to go anywehre I throw plastic bags and saran wrap some stuff such as the alternator etc. Thanks for the advice though. I'll use some engine detailer and clean that baby!
