lol yeah, this didnt come to my head til i saw it on ebay while i was bored, searching for random evo parts. i just want to see if other members have experience with them first.
and the auction said it was for "mitsubishi lancer", it would still fit the evo right guys?

well heres the story of why i need a set...my mom was driving my car home one day and parked it. the driveway is slightly uphill and she didnt pull the e brake high enough and it was parked on N. my parking spot has the support beam for the roof on the driver side and she had the driver door slightly opened while gettin stuff out the car...at the time the car was rolling back. the opened door made contact with the support beam and chipped off the paint of both the door and the beam.
no dents or anything so thats a plus but the peeled paint is killing me even though its minimal

haha, sounds like you have convinced yourself too.
But since it's real CF it won't weight that much. Jsut make sure whatever you are covering don't get rust from inside out.

haha i doubt itll rust from the inside since its just paint chipping and the panels would be stickied right over it. i guess it would compliment the cf on the wing and the exhaust shield

i believe the one i linked are knock offs, the varis set is about $200 though. i just hope this isnt a decal sticker lol like some sellers have decal UK evo badges

Yeah, it's jsut a thin strip of CF. In this application I think it's even better = less aero drag

ROFL..i did msg'd the seller before i even made this thread. i think he/she was too jdm because they replied back to me to in broken english so i didnt bother replying.
my initial questions were "hi, will the panels last for a year or two in different conditions of weather and will the panels fit the evo as well?"
i got back a reply saying "it fit good for long time"

i didnt wanna be mean and flammed the seller so i made this thread since there are abunch of evo/lancer owners that may know the answer hopefully someone does

Chances are that it will fit the evo, although like it was said before it would be best to send a message to the seller asking them. Good luck and let us know how it works out if you end up getting them.
