just got my IX clear bra 'd in SoCal

Just got a clear bra installed on my IX. Guys did an awesome job and they had the precut kits already since no one eles seems to have the dimensions. Plus, they have more coverage than my prior installer whom i had a clear bra done on my VIII. Oh, Ask for Ryan and tell him Simon from the "Evo Club" referred and you get a 15% discount:

Whole job with the discount and sales tax cost me around $525ish. THe only time you can tell its there is if you wax the car and you see residual dry wax on the seams of the clear bra. THis can be easily removed using rubbing alcohol.

If they use film made by 3M, it shouldn't turn yellow. I can't speak for other clear bra material makers.

3M will not turn yellow. It is UV compliant (means it lets sunlight through, so no fade of paint if taken off later). It does have a slightly yellow look on flat white paint because it has a clear coated layer on it.

For more info on 3M film, click here

I wouldn't use rubbing alcohol. Believe it or not, using a toothpick on the edge would do a better job (just lightly guide tip along edge of film and it comes right off!!!)
