Well I actually bought a hybrid off ebay for my honda civic si..10:1 compression je pistons..9psi..stock bore 343 on 9psi on aem..I don't see why it should not do just as well..as long as the core looks decent..and the welds are strong..they also give you stats on pressure drop...here is my old car..

yeah it LOOKS good, but I would never in my life purchase a $240 intercooler for my evo...intercoolers are engineered parts. Engineered intercoolers cost nothing near $240 meaning this part you have which is a no name ebay brand is probably just put together with no actual testing of it. But hey very FEW ebay parts do end up working out fine at the end, just be careful

so you are saying that people who take intercooler cores and just make some sheetmetal endtanks actually take engineering into consideration...If it messes up I will never another item off ebay...lol..It did me good on the last car I had so I was just like oh well don't hurt to try it again..

Ok he doesnt have any posted right now, but this is actually from my purchase what was on it..

*TREADSTONE* Bar & Plate Intercooler
This intercooler is a quality spearco style bar and plate design which will out perform any other tube and fin style intercooler. Tube and fin is meant for radiators not high performance turbo systems. This intercooler is 3.50" thick, not 3.00" and surely not 2.5" like many cheap import coolers are. Beware of copys that are no where near as efficient as our intercoolers. This intercooler will easily support 1000CFM's, 666HP at 0.5psi pressure drop, but can easily be pushed to 850HP. Perfect size intercoolers for IMustangs, Supras, Integras, Civics, Eclipse, 240sx, Mitsu Evolution, VW, RX7, Supra, WRX......Our intercoolers are pressure checked and come with a 1-Year Warranty. Retail Price $509.00 Dealers Welcome.

Core Size, 10.5" X 26" X 3.5"
Overall lenght 36"
2.5" inlet/outlet
1000 CFM flow rate
666 HP efficient
