how lucky is your evo from getting scratches, dents, etc?
not luck here a truck backed into my car doing alot of damage and took off. i was in the mall with my g/f when it happend. the security camera could not make out a lisence plate number. i need bumper hood uper rad suport and right side headlight and fender
scratch
I just broke into the12's last week sat. and was so happy that when I pull into my garage at home I scraped the pass. side 1/4 panel. It was the most hartbraking thing, I was depressed the rest of the weekend and ate like 2 gallons of ice cream. Its not that bad but considering the car was basically flawless.

Right fender and door damaged by a couple of deers. The front bumper's paint is stripping off by itself. There is a rust spot on the left side of the car, and the left fender was damaged by somebody who backed into my car and just drove off. There are tiny scratches all over the car from driving it everyday, and the rims are scratched. There are also scratches on the front bumper and lip, not sure how those got there.
Other than that, the car is looking pretty good.

my lancer had a magnetic attraction for other peoples car doors, not to mention idiots who couldn't back out straight (scraped my bumper bad) and the first (and last) time i took it to jiffy lube for an oil change and tire rotation they scraped every corner with whatever ceiling mounted cable they used (but i didn't notice until the next day). every time i washed it there was another scratch, chip or ding. then there was the time my little brother cracked my tail light with his head...
all in all, i don't blame the car, i blame my luck. its pretty much always been that way, no matter how far back on the lot, or how close to that coveted curb spot i can park. such is life.

2nd car was white and once time i came back from work to see red paint on it and paint of my car was scraped off. and now the evo
what do u guys do about it? just try to clean it up as best as possible or try got it fixed asap? i would get it fixed but i dont think its worth it yet..with my luck, ill get another one on the way out of the repair shop
I almost ran over a deer that was hit going onto an on ramp, luckily his eyes were glaring at me from my headlights, just missed it.
I would say that it has to do with more luck than anything. I park far away from everybody else, but then that just attracts more attention to your car...nothings perfect

Kids getting out of SUV's are the killer combo.
I'm at a shade under 2000 miles, and have been very fortunate, not a ding on it. We take my wife's car a lot of places, and when we take mine, it gets parked a long way from anyone, or hugging a curb in a corner parking spot, or on the driver's side of the most expensive car I can find.
I have a garage at home, and the parking spaces I normally use at work are HUGE. I could park my car and a motorcycle in it and still give the car next to me plenty of room. So, that helps keep me dent free.

thinking about this one of my friends has the best luck with this stuff...he works in downtown LA, parks in diff structures everyday and his car looks pretty dang good after several years. the one time that he got hit, which was a slighttttt hit, the lady left him the contact info on the windshield
when ppl hit me, they back up and hit me some more to get some more dents in lol
My car is good so far *knock on wood* but I'm a real freak about it. I work at night so I get my choice of parking spaces and I always choose the corner spot that has a handicap space next to it that nobody uses. At home I park in a garage and everywhere else I always corner park it (reduces chances of being hit by 50%) and I'll back up and pull in 50 times to make sure I'm close to the curb so that doors can open all the way on the other side.

Only scratches I have are on my front lip.
Sometimes I think that the more expensive your car looks the more careful people tend to be, (excluding kids in Suv's) You may think I'm nuts but...maybe not.
There are not very many evo's in my city, so I think it tends to stand out, Keeping it clean helps too.
i believe that if you are talking about a dent in the rear door check the other side by looking in the side mirrors and i think you will see that it is on both side becuse of the way the door skin is put on the door. theres nothing you can do
