Here are some better pic's of the skid plate. You can see that I live up north and we have gotten snow and then the salt. I hit a nice size fender burg the other day with it, glad the plastic one wasn't on the car.

No it's Kevlar, glass, and carbon cloth with epoxy.

 

which is a carbon kevlar plate? did you mold it or buy it like that. how many layers of mat?

 

I made the mold and the plate. It is 3 layers of kevlar. Has glass between the kevlar. There is carbon for stiffing at the rear mounting points.

It's not like that skid plate or even the stock one for that matter is 100% sealed. I don't think it'll be a problem.

he just did a similar to stock yet custom in certain spots... you should really make a extra piece that can fit on thats for cooling brakes... i was oging to do one but i dont have carbon or kevlar to do anything... iw ould have to fiberglass it and i dont like fiberglass to weak to me

 

IT's dose have vents just like the stock one. It also has the low pressure areas like the stock one, not a flat plate, and were is your front lip. It also has the cooling for the tranmistion, how do you do that. On yours the down pipe and exhaust are covered and mine is not, how is yours cooler.
