WOW, 2 RC thread's in one day. I have a Xmod that as a lot of parts from atomic mods, It can beat my nitro truck's off the line.

I am a geek,lol. Hobbies are fun but expensive(Evo,Nitro trucks, and Sk8boarding) It can be a pain it the ***,lol.

Thanks to this thread, I too picked one up. I installed the stage 2 motor and AWD upgrade last night.

 

are they quick??

 

they are pretty quick but they are heavy. I have a Kyosho mini z wrc evo 7 and it's like half the weight of the x mods. My cousin went and fully modded his x mod against my stock mini z and my mini z still dusted him.

 

now you just need to lower it. i lowered mine and it looks ****.

 

funny, my friend has this one too and told me about it last weekend. I'm going to pick one up this weekend. We are thinking about getting the "L" track for my basement since it's snowing here now.

 

yeah they sell the shells for about $13 but they are all on backorder, i tried to buy one yesterday but the guy said that no radioshack had just the shells..



haha, so get this, i walk into radio shack yesterday and this was my conversation
me: do you have just the body shells of the evolution for the x-mods?
him: well which one does he have?
me: no, I am the one that has one, and I got the civic 2 years ago when they first came out. i just want the shell for the evolution.
him: ok (and then he goes and gets a bodykit for an evolution)
me: no, i just want the WHOLE body shell for the evolution
him: goes and grabs a body for a civic and was like ill give you this for $10

Geeze, after this I wanted to kick this guy in the face, NO i just wanted the shell for the evo. he grabbed someone else and he figured out that no stores had the shell all out.

I want one too, I don't know if they have them in Canada yet. I've seen other xmods like the skyline, supra, civic and rsx, but no evo. Also went to TheSource aka RadioShack in canada and on their website they don't show the evo either.
I guess the xmods evo just like the real evo doesn't meet the canadian 7km/h crash test requirements.
