SC IX rear bumper replica w/carbon diffuser

I'm wondering if anyone on here has ordered the evo IX rear bumper replica from street concept

For $290 is seems like a pretty good deal even with the fitment issues, but I wanted to see more pics of it on another car to make a decision first. The reason I ask is because someone backed into my car and I'm thinking this might be a cheaper way to go than having a body shop fix it. What do you guys think?

Also street concept if you're reading this, try and post more pics of that carbon diffuser or any other pics on another customer's car, thanks.

thats pretty cool, but I just wouldnt be able to live with that fitment issue if I had an evo. Cant you jsut fit on the evo9 bumper onto the evo8? I mean its the same body panels still the only thing thats been changed is the bumper right?

Yes, but the JDM IX rear bumper is like $800...

i'd go this route.

its pre-painted to match the factory color and its a sure fit. just remember you get what you pay for. after painting and having a body shop "refit" the SC bumper you'll be looking close to the price of this Gruppe-s bumper.

true but if you have a bby evo or weightless white their is no jdm prepainted one that matches... Might have some other colors that wont match but those are the ones that i know.

The JDM IX Rear Bumpers fit with the removal of the Crash beam. I am thinking Street Concepts is also like that. You will have to drill the factory retainers off then rerivet them onto the new bumper. Modification of the license plate frame is needed, if u rivet the corners of the retainer, your bumper will have gaps like the picture above. I simply didnt rivet the 2 corner holes and it is a lot less noticeable. It is not that Street Concepts bumper is off or not made to fit. The Authentic JDM Rear IX Bumper fits the SAME Way as the Picture Above. I think it is just the difference between the USDM Bumper Retainer and the JDM Bumper retainer.

graphite grey too, since Japan didn't get it as a color option.
