After being in Japan for 2 months so far I've noticed how popular LEDs are getting. Sadly taste is does not often compliment the application of LEDs on cars here, so you usually just find random strips attached to the bumper where things like foglights would be.

I was thinking of something like a headlight mod where you could just put a line of white LEDs along the bottom portion of the headlight housing. It probably sounds ricey to most but I think it would create a really cool effect, and something wildly different than the common headlight mods such as angel eyes, etc. which are beginning to be played out and often criticized for biting BMWs. It's kind of tough to describe this but I was just wondering if anyone has been toying with this kind of idea, or if anyone has done something similar. I'd also like to know what the cost and difficulty of a project such as this would be. Is there too much wiring, cutting, etc. involved in something like this? Maybe someone like EvoDave who is an expert with headlights would be able to chime in?
