Unhappy Help!! Hid light not working

My left low beam hid light went out last week, so I bought a set of 6000k hid bulbs to replace them with. However, when I changed the bulb the light still did not come on. I checked all the fuses and they seem fine. What else could the problem possibly be??

I went to an electrician today and they think its the hid box. Not sure if that is they're same thing as the ballaster but its a silver box right under the HID bulb housing. If not then can somone post a pic of what it looks like??

Okay it seems that the OEM ballast has gone bad. Can I replace the ballast with an aftermarket one?? Or is it better to jus get one from mitsu??

it wold probably be cheaper to replace the ballast with aftermarket, since you drive a 7 i take it you arent under warrnaty still. Most aftermarket kits come with 2 ballasts wiring etc. so replace them both imo unless you can find a used oem ballast from somebody.
