That's because he wasn't going at it full bore, as to not run into the Sti. The Sti was being slowed by the silver Evo who was getting loose. After he passes the Sti you can hear the difference as well see the difference in acceleration.

Amazing video... I think I speak for us all when I say we totally appreciate it when people post videos like this. I remember when Mueller released video's of him tearing up the Vipers. Its awsome stuff, thanks guys!!
