Quick question totally off-topic but why is Mohammad offensive?

I know of muslim individuals with the name of mohammad when I lived overseas.

 

And also Najeeb you have to undestand the individuals I encounter every day over here, I even got blown up by one, and then shot by one two months later. I will say again I have nothing against any muslim/middle eastern. Only the ones that wish to do harm upon me or my friends or my nation. This includes forgein and domestic.

well the name Mohammad, is the name of our prophet in islam.

If the name is used in a negative context, its thought of as being very bad and offensive, not only to a muslim, but to islam, and the prophet himself.

Najeeb, I did not use the word Mohammed in reference to the profet. I can walk out in the street here and yell out MOHAMMED and I will get at least 5 people to walk up to me wondering why I shouted their name.
