What kind of car wash is it? Personally, if I have to use a car wash I only use the kind that hand wash. What color is your car?

Depends. The car washes with the brushes that run all over you car will leave swirl marks on your car... You will definitely see it more on a black car.

ea--Thats why I asked what color his car was. You won't really notice the swirls on a silver or white car like mine. But on a black car--forget it. It'll be swirlcity. You might be able to combat it by hand waxing it after every wash.

Most new car washes like Mr carwash use the sponge like things that drop back and forth on car with rainbows of colors spraying on your car with soap... The ones who use the swirl type carwashes are gas stations...

I know exactly what your talking about.......i think you should stay away from it and hand wash your evo. Hand washing is the best way to treat any 30k+ car especially a black one.

I've always used the "laserwashes" in a pinch, and they've never hurt my black cars, althought not as thorough as a hand wash. But I'm not going outside in 10 degree weather to handwash ANY car. I wouldn't hand wash Jenny McCarthy in this freakin weather...oh wait, yeah i would.
