its a pretty weird commercial.

 

For the amount of time the Evo has been out in the U.S. I am disappointed that there has never been a commercial. There was one when it first came out, but it was a teaser and really not a commercial. I mean you could hardly see the car. They should make a real commercial for the Evo. Maybe include it in Mitsubishi's commercial where they advertise all their models.

 

I am sorry, but the commercial was really bad. It wasn't even exciting.

 

sorry if it was a repost - but i came across it. ive never seen an evo commercial, and i knew it was old. but yeah i dont know why they don't advertise the evo on tv, or the sti for that matter. anyone else notice it?

the stupid saleperson i got my car from told me "the evo doesn't need a commercial, it's like an underground thing--the car has a cult following already. only people who understand what it is would pay attention to the commercial, and since those people know all there is to know about the evo anyway they wouldn't care about a commercial."

make sense? lol. i guess it's true, it's not a mainstream car, so they don't waste $$$ advertising it. joe schmo would just watch the commercial and think it's a lancer with a big wing anyway...
