someone in our car club did something similar but he literally had his laptop hooked up in the car because he wanted that big screen and that **** looked like cheese *****...very messy.

any chance you can program that to display real time gauges? like someone mentioned earlier? my pioneer AVIC-N1 has built in MPH, RPM, G force etc...if you can do it with this PC setup i will be convinced to switch over to this setup. how much in total did you end up spending for all the parts?

I was trying not to count how much I spending, but I think it was somewhere between $800~$900.

I’m planning to integrate gages including boost and G force gage with data logging in the near future.

hmmm 800-900 thats a bit high for me...but considering all the things you can do with it...its well worth it!

so integrated gauges and data logging is very possible? hmmm i just might...i was planning on buying a new computer for the house anyway...i might just put it into buying a setup like this. thanks.
