in the video game gran turismo 4, the rs comes with a wing and some steelies. do rs's come with steel wheels in japan?

 

i agree, the wing is a trademark of our cars and/or the origin. no wing looks clean yes, but with the wing its just as nice, a tad bit heavier but nice. either way looks good but i prefer with the wing. i dont like the evo however with other wings... i dont like the mid wing that looks like it came off of a regular lancer on our cars.

Thanx. I bought the spoiler off of someone who was parting out there evo. Originally the wing was blue. I had it repainted and mounted at a body shop. paint and mounting should run you no more then $225.00. Even if you dont get the wing I recommend getting the evo. You will love it

 

Did they change the red on the 06s at all? The RR on the 03's at least are a sucky single stage paint

 

Nope same single stage paint. That is the one thing I am not happy with on the car. other then that the IX kicks a**

 

maybe a lip spoiler or something like the bmws....i derno. no wing = lancer no evo to me, i saw mine yesterday w/out the wing when it was getting painted and i will say, it looked better than i thought it would.

I plan on getting the CF lip and CF mirrors. I have to admit I love my car so much more since I have put the wing on. In the end I want to have a clean car.

 

Well in that case, take it from my experience with the RR paint, only wax it by hand.
Even a random orbital wheel seems too strong for the paint to take after a while

Oh and imo, wing on, I dont think RR looks right wingless

 

I think a black or a white evo look good wingless. I cant imagine a RR or a GG without a wing. It just wouldnt look right imo

I've never taken my wing off.
is there some type of sticky pad between the wing and the trunk?
Can you take the wing off and put it back on without any problem?

 

If you use adhesive remover from 3M you should be able to remove it with no problem also it is great for removing emblems also.
