ha, he sounded fine to me...

To the fellow yankee, looks good but I would suggest getting a long non-coiled chord for your radar detector and running it under the dash where the windshield meets it. There is plenty of room to run it down and tap into the fuse box. It frees up your cig lighter and looks clean too.

where can I get the non-coiled chord?

My radar detector is like 11 years old....

Thanks, I used to have a zillion gauges on my old Integra.... My car actually looked like an airplane cockpit back then but now I'm trying to keep it simple.

If you go to radio shack they sell little connectors for a variety of devices. You basically bring either your detector, or the original cord, and find the connector you need. Then buy a cable from them that allows you to plug in that connector you just picked out. The cable I got had a cig lighter connector on the opposite end, which I ended up cutting off and tapping directly into the fuse box, but that is optional.
