funny thing is that i actually owned a mazdaspeed protege for like 6 months
the wing is black... i like it because it matches the rear well... The Cwest was too agressive and teh Gialla is played out... also both of those (actually every single one except this one) is made into replicas, i didn't want to invest of 1g for a front bumper to have some punk buy a replica for 300 bux.
Its to each their own... i also bought this because this bumper fit 100% i didn't even test fit it until it was painted and it bolted 100% and it maintains teh stock bumper hieght so it doesn't look out of place when compared to teh side skirts and rear...
I do realize after getting it painted though that it needed a 2-tone (lip in a silver color) to make it really nice... but i didn't know it made that big of a difference...
I might eventually get the bottom lip of the bumper as well as side skirts painted graphite grey (to match the ix rear) and probably change the black wing to the graphite as wells
But down here in South FL there are problems with body shops and getting **** done because of the hurricanes of last year, there is a 2 month minimum to get basic stuff painted (just my bumper alone took 4 weeks to get painted)
