06 stis ugly? haters...

haha thats funny... i mean to each his own its a free country i can understand why some peeps might not like it its definetly diff from its predecessor but i still like it actually i like it more then the previous model ;P but i still like my EVO MR better

 

I, too, used to hate the new '06 Impreza. But it looks much better in person than in pictures. It grew on me so much that I ended up buying one.

Nevertheless, the S2000 and Evo are certainly prettier cars.

 

It's not really hating on the STI, it's just calling it like it is. The new front end is NOT handsome. I wouldn't call it ugly, but it was definitely a step in the wrong direction for Subaru. Plus the left the rest of the car alone, so the design became unbalanced, whereas the 2004 redesign had both a redesigned front and rear end. In addition, the '06 rear taillights became pretty riced out, and that roof spoiler is overkill. But the S204 looks chill in that picture.

 

i know the s2K looks great but why wld you buy one for the price of an Evo or an STi? Maybe if I were 18 y/o and who's main goal is to pick up girls, then yes.

well there is something that the s2k has that the evo or the sti will nvr have (unless someone is crazy enough to do heavy mods to them) and that is it's a covertible which is what my friend wanted... and yeah stock the s2k is slower then the evos but i warn you if you see a tuned one on the road i advise agaisnt looking down on them cause they can be preaty fast even on a road course track

 

s2k's are beasts for auto-x due to perfect balance and lightweight. anyways, the s2k looks sexy as hell....gots to do the ap2 front/tail lights conversion on my ap1 soon the new sti's crazy front end does stand out relative to the s2k and Evo.....in a bad way too i'm sure it's still a blast to drive though
