Awesome job. That is a project I always wanted to do. Good luck with it. Mirage coupes definitely need more rep points. The stock VIII wheels take on a whole new life on that car.

Actually because there are so many parts and being such an involved and complicated swap, i figure it would be near impossible for anyone to follow my footsteps in a written log...not to mention once they find out what needs to be done and how much it costs collecting parts alone, i'm sure they would find its something you really need to figure out for yourself and care about doing yourself in my oppinion, no1 is more fitted to do true good quality work on your own car that meet your own standards then yourself even tho they may be fully qualified and capable...anyway...i've gotta say thanks to all the guys who have helped me thru this swap with parts and info, AMStuning, TurboXS, Murry @ TAD, Jon @ TRE, long long list...

BTW: the car actually started off as a 1.8L Auto...not a 1.5, and if u look carefully i've still got the Auto Brake Pedal in the car...but yea...

I do realize that just about everything gets changed out, but do you think it would be easier if someone started out with a DE manual, or an LS manual? Or does it not matter and that any Mirage will do and none are favored over the other?

makes no difference, in fact both cars use the same tranny, axles, and dash and bay harnesses, only differnece is that 1.5l motor in the DE and 1.8l motor in the LS, all of which gets trashed anyway...only good parts of the car in mirage form is the Frame, Body, Dash and some of the wiring, and depending on if you run an Evo4 or Evo5-8 widetrack set-up like on my car...allmost all of the body parts are trashed also...

I was thinking about doing something like your project but I heard that you have to get the floor in order to fit the AWD sysytem???
