I was almost set on a set of 18" TE's and spent WEEKS trying to find the right offset for a stock fender setup. I looked at the following sizes, and I'll put the little bit of info I know about each:

18x9.5+ 35 -- It fits fine, its what Volk recommends for the Evo. I didn't like the offset because I wanted something with a little more "concaveness" to give it the little deep dish look. This size with 255 is a perfect setup...no need to roll any fenders, just slap them on and go.

18x9.5+22 -- Its gonna take some work to get these to fit. The fronts will fit with wide fenders, but I'm not sure to what extent the OEM fenders would need to make them fit. The rears were gonna take some serious rolling, and were gonna need to be pulled out to make them fit without rubbing. If you did all that, I figured out that a 275 would fit, but it would be a tight fit.

18x9 +22 -- This is the setup if you want a aggressive setup, but 255, maybe 265 is the widest you'll really want to run. I was set on a 9.5" width, so I didn't go this route.

17x9.5+22 -- I know there is at least 1 guy running this setup...looks SICKS. The +22 works with the smaller wheel alot better, and allows you to run the OEM fenders, and just roll the rears. I would have gone with this size, but I needed the 18" to clear my ProjectMu brake kit.

Hope all the helps a little. This is NOT definant information, just what I learned asking around!

I ended up going with a staggard CE28 setup, using a 18x9 +28 (front) and a 18x9.5+35 (rear). Going with 17's really lets you run a more aggressive offset. There is a EVONY owner whose running 17x9.5 with +28/+35 setup(I think those are the offsets) and it looks great...fits the OEM fenders too I believe.

*BTW, PM me for any Volk info. I work for Evolution Autosports...I can get you ANY Volks your interested in*

-Stephen
thanks for the info. If 18x9 with +22 offset would fit with 255 tires and needs big time fender rolling I wouldnt mind. That would look sick as hell.
My previous cars I have rolled fenders so im not afraid of doing that, I just want to make sure if I rolled the fenders the tires wont rub...

Why not bronze TE's/CE's? Would look real nice on your silver.

I prefer Advans...all 3 are better looking than those SSR's...no offense, I was never a fan of them the day you got them on...always thought they were the weakest part of your car's looks.

Derek, have you ever thought about getting some Jline rims? I think it would look very good on your car.

I would go with Prodrives ... not many people with them and they are an awsome rim!

The prodrives would certainly be more unique. Haven't seen many evos with that wheel.
