what is magazine worthy?

ok so i have a white 2004 EVO SSL and i would really like to get it into a magazine. this is easier said than done which im sure a lot of you know. im doing a lot of things to my car right know which i will list below, what im really just asking is maybe what type of mods you would say i should do next. im starting the whole car show thing this year so i should be in at least three this year. this is what i have done to my car.

interior:
Kenwood KVT 717
DEFI gauges boost, EGT, oil press.
sparco steering wheel with quick release on order
light kit for AC, clock, etc.
might do seats but not sure yet

motor
RNR GT30r turbo kit
RNR race front mount intercooler
HKS 280's HKS cam gears
Xede with smart
and i will get a few dress up parts here shortly

exterior
MR BBS wheels
tinted windows
will have evo dave head lights this month
i think that the outside will need some work
one of my sponsors have the RGII 18x10 in gold, but i have seen those in mags. alot latly so im not sure if im going to put those on or not.

suspension
lowering springs
rear sway
(hope to get some type of sponsor for coilovers)

right now im sponsored by RNR and ILLTECH auto and im looking for others. if you guys have any suggestions on anything i would appreciate them. the turbo kit should be in, in the next week other than that everything else is already on the car. i will post pics soon.

Very true...gotta have some hookups honestly. Lots of people have "magazine worthy" rides, but they aren't in any mags.

Try to do stuff thats uncommon, rare parts, something different. They are looking for someone with MONEY, dedication, and creativity!

Pay some nekkid chicks to take pics next to your car and then send it in to a magazine with a piece of paper saying "Can I be in your magazine!?" If that doesn't work, be ready to drop each and every paycheck you get into that baby. They want rides that are clean right down to the littlest detail, like the little valve caps for your tires or the little stiching in your seats.

What someone said eailer about who you know is ver true..... but dont give up hope. You can submit photos of your ride to the mags along with your contact info and what events you are attending and sometimes you'll get lucky.

The biggest thing is having a well rounded car. Like for exmaple you need a lot of dress up items (non ricer ones) on the whole car. For your mods you have listed above I waould say your going the right direction but here are some other ones I would add:

interior:

-Seats (Sparcos, Brides, ect)
-Harness bar or roll bar with harnesses
-Sard stack or some type of custom guage cluster
-Orbital 2-din dash kit

Engine Bay
-Ti Strut Bars (front & rear)
-Cf or ti or polished Radiator Shroud
-CF or ti or polished valve & cam gear covers

Exterior
-Wheels of any type (never to this day seen a car with any form of stock wheels in a mag)
-Body kit of some type (lip or full bumper replacement)

Brakes
-Aftermarket rotors
-SS lines
-Pads

^ They also like mods that they can list that you can see ...but you get the idea.

That car is nothing special. I mean don't get me wrong, ITS A SICK CAR, but have you seen the evos in these magazines? They are all the first to do something, or the best at doing something. You're just doing stuff a ton of people already do.

Try the widebody kit, and making 900 AWHP. You will make it into any magazine you submit to. Or crazy #'s on stock turbo maybe?

Just a couple ideas.
