I kind of agree.....but the only way to fix the pipe would have been to take it to a machine shop and have it bent more. We tried all possibilities of bending the hangers but alls that would have done was create more problems. What do you do?

I don't think yours looks bad at all. I know there are a few others that have this same set up. Maybe they will post up later.

slo4g63 - we actually might make the meet this saturday. we need to get her new tires before she starts going on any drives. And no MR tails. she wants to keep the original lights.....that's why I have the MR's

lil'evil evo - thank you for the compliments. I would like to see how other people fit as well. I love the way it looks from the side.....I just don't like the space between the top of the can and the bumper.

SHe has the same tint as I do but it's a little lighter. I have a 14% black reflective....she has a 20% black reflective.

is it just me or does the carbon ti look weird on the car... Comparing it with the rally red evo it seems like the carbon ti sits too low. I have the same exhaust and it sits low as well. However, its not as noticeable on the evo VIII bumper but i'll be goin JDM soon as well. Does anyone know of a solution to this?

Man I love that rear bumper. But it is something to look foward to if (when) I get rear ended. One of the importers was talking about getting a UK spec crash bar imported that should fit - no word on it yet, though.

no...there is no rear crash beam. I actually have a stock crash beam, so I am going to give it to a guy and see if he can take the dimensions and make some form of hard steel beam that would fit for that bumper. It may take a little time but until someone finds a stock JDM crash beam I guess we will just have to tinker around.
