BTW, like i said before, I am into shock factor, good or bad... If you took the time to reply, even if you don't or do like it... You will remember my car.... any publicity is good with me....
LOL....well if hks did that to there car id say the same thing, makes no difference...all im sayin is different strokes for diff. folks..im not into graphics...my car looks the same exact way from factory, but pushin 500whp...so im not into that stuff but he is...he likes it then thats all that matters, its HIS evo...but the whole comic thing is crazy....but hey thats him....
Quizno's said the same thing when they started their ad campaign with the singing rats that had oversized eyes. Unfortunately, it failed miserably, because everyone associated Quizno's with rats, and that doesn't help one's appetite. In this case, it is a heinous act of heresy on a purebred race car, such as the Evo, but at least everything was done with precision and skill. This is really good work, but like a few of the others, I think it has no place on an Evo. The sponsors of course like it, because they like you to appeal to the ricer crowd. That's fine...you help them make money by appealing to people that don't race or care about performance (for the most part). In my case, I have no graphics or stickers and prefer to turn heads by blowing away supercars on the track - much better attention.
However, of all the sponsorships I have, I do _NOT_ have a tire sponsor, and it is the one I've worked for the hardest (to no avail). I would love to have 615s for daily driving (they aren't race tires), but I'd really like a Kumho sponsorship, since they make some badass r-compounds that I use currently (ick, I actually paid for them!).
All in all, it looks cool, but just shouldn't be on an Evo, imo. I'm sure you don't care and will enjoy it thoroughly. I'm pretty certain it will be raved upon at car shows, which is exactly what you want, I'm assuming.
