SEMA IAS Pictures
It was very nice being able to meet everyone at the show.
Our TSE (Tri-State Evo) team came in large numbers to show the SEMA community that Evo owners mean business. Literally. With the number of cars we were showing there as a team, we literally showed what a million dollars spent looks like. The aftermarket, as well as Mitsubishi, cannot deny how powerful a group the Evolution owners are and TSE went down there to prove just that. Sure, there were other cars there that had gullwing doors and strobe light kits and enough TV's to make a Circuit City employee puke, but when it came to performance, the Evos were showing hands down exactly what a show like SEMA needs.
A big congratulations go out from me to Team Emotion for taking the other team award. Joe Kim's Evo got a facelift that I wouldn't have seen coming from left field and I give him a big thumbs up for his efforts along with the crew at Atlantic Motorsports. Joe came in second place for best Mitsubishi and I came in third. Ironically, we both got beat out by an Eclipse. Oh well, there's always 2007. LoL.
With SEMA we've really kicked off the 2006 show season and I hope to see more and more innovation and big things from Evo owners and shops throughout the region. Once again, congratulations to all the winners and hopefully we keep pushing each other to keep improving the status and image of the Evos we so cherish.
