I'm a 2 EVO man now!!
I won't be making that decision every morning. I will go to work and do all other personal business in the IX MR. On track day, I will drive to, from and on the racetrack in the RS (and also drive it to and from the race shop for maintenance) -- that's it.

It runs on 100 octane all the time, and even though there are a few places to buy it in the greater L.A. area, it is very expensive and sometimes you just can't find it. Plus the exhaust is so loud. I got one noise ticket and don't want another. Also, I have two sets of wheels for the RS, and they are both shod with RA1's. You don't want to be wearing out your track tires on the street.
But I found myself driving that very nice, very fast, very luxurious S4 on the street, wishing I was driving an EVO instead. Now I am.
BTW, I posted about this on the Audi board and got flamed pretty good, which you might expect, but a few peeps were interested and one bought the S4 over the MR because, of all things, he got better financing on the Audi.
