Varis rear diffuser?
Is the Varis rear diffuser setup for an exhaust that is at an angle or is it one piece that you cut to match the exhaust you've got?
I've seen a few posts with the diffuser on a car, but all the exhausts on them are angled....
Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Most exhaust that protrude straight out or have a slight angle will fit just fine. If the exhaust comes out at a dramatic angle then the carbon will need to be trimmed to fit. There is no problem trimming if necessary. I hope that helps.
i beg to differ bro... majority of the users of this rear diffuser that uses aftermarket brands other than YR-Advance's exhaust setup will need some trimming. The angle of the YR-Advance exhaust is different compared to the others, and Varis had made them to fit the YR-Advance. correct me if I'm wrong...
cheers
a sample pic of a VII installed with the rear diffuser and had to cut it to make way for the muffler... note that from the mid section of the exhaust system, there's something like a 'S' curve to the muffler box...

a sample of the YR-Advance exhaust system fitted.. you do not need to cut it off as its shape the same as the exhaust... note that there is only one bend from the mid section of the exhaust system.

yea, it looks like i'd have to do some cutting...
I've got the perrin exhaust, which does the s-bend thing and has a larger muffler than the angled exhaust...

They are making a new one for the JDM IX bumper ... if you look on their site www.varis.co.jp you will see it listed under the IX parts but no pics and no pricing yet
EDIT: here is the exact page:

Dunno if this thread is dead or not but I recently just got this diffuser for my 8 and I had a JDM bumper coming but the sale fell through so the diffuser is just sitting her until I find a bumper. So I was wondering if it is possible to fit this on a usdm 8 bumper? I know it most likely would not fit because its for a JDM bumper but I was just curious.
