I just bought a JDM Evo9 head lights(without HID housing) yesterday,im wondering how do i take off the factory HID housing kit from the old one to the new JDM headlights?does anyone can help?any good ideas?~~~thanks~~

 

if the jdm housing is anything like the usdm non-hid housing, you're gonna have to do some cutting to fit and modification to get your hid projector from your HID headlight to fit into the non-HID headlight. when i swapped out my non-SSL IX headlights with 04 headlights (HID), i wanted to keep the gunmetal housing of my IX, so i had to crack open both headlights, use the IX gunmetal housing, cut some part of the housing to fit the HID projector, and put the headlights back together.
