Is it just me or does it seem like there's a lot more oil on the line going back into the intake? Shouldn't there not be any oil in that line?

good point. I wonder what's inside ? The whole point of a catch can is to keep that from happening. What ever is coating the inside of that hose is coating the inside of the intake.

I just like the location of the dentsport, it looks nicer than mine. and i think there is nothing inside but if you look at my "in" tube it is a little dirty from oil but the "out" is still as clean as the day I bought it.

I doubt there is any baffles or anything inside the other catchcans. I have a Helix and have used a Greddy one and they are empty inside.
