Should I go "wingless" on my LY EVO??
I can speak from experience that removing the wing results in a huge decrease in unwanted attention. I also point out that the most ticketed car color is white, followed by black, with red a distant third in the only semi-scientific study ever done trying to relate car color to frequency of tickets issued.
Still, the decision to remove the wing is a personal decision. It all comes down to what you like.

no my car is very quiet, even at WOT....even with a DP, TP and CBE....
I have had my evo without a wing and with a wing. When I was wingless I wanted a wing. Then I put on a wing and then I wanted it wingless. If your fighting it now you will always will. Flip a coin

its gonna be tough, idea keep popping into myu head all the time, like going wingless and getting one of those "evodave" CF trunks.....
IMHO...Go wingless! I shaved the wing off my 03 the first week I had it. 49,000 miles later I just had the same body shop shave the wing off my GG IX MR at 800 miles. I like the purposeful but evil look of wingless Evos.
If you want stealth, taking the wing off your car wont work since its yellow. If you just don't like the wing, you can ditch it.
I personally like the wing and the reduced lift it creates during spirited driving and on the track. So i'm keeping mine right where it is.
