Ding Ding Ding! Hueman is the winner! They are indeed 18x9 SSR D5R's from TireRack, with Goodyear Eagle F1's in the 255 width. BTW, I appreciate all the feedback, both positive and negative --- and for those of you who want to know WHY I went with these wheels . . . .
1. Clearance item @ TireRack = half the cost of Volks
2. Five spokes are Soooooo much easier to clean than 20.
3. Polished lip better than gray lip.
4. Now you can see the Brembos.
5. Wheel options are veeeeery limited for gray cars; it's either silver, or . . . . . silver.
But that's just me. I think they're PIMP.

agree...good point...and good looks
Never really liked those wheels but for the money they are nice quality wheels. My friend just picked up some clearance SSR GT2's for his Subby on Tirerack. SSR's are cheap there!
