i honestly had already started planning a graphics scheme because i felt that doing this crazy of a look on a plain silver car might be too much . I personally liked it along with everyone that has saw it in person so i am torn cause it seems that some people feel its too much. So maybe the way to go is a graphics scheme to finish it off and make it 100% complete.

 

well, it's all good aslong as you like it... as I stated before, I think it's too much (for a street car anyway)... if you were doing an all out race car, that would be a different story (w/ the accompanying paintjob & graphics as mentioned before).

The car looks fine. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but so what. Why people are so afraid to customize a car any more just makes no sense and they think everything looks rice or busy( BS). Do what you like, not what they like. This plain looking Evo thing people have going on isn't for everyone either. Some of us are tired of seeing Evo's that all look the same. People are entitled to opinions, but take it with a grain of salt. Keep up the good work.

see thats my thing ...i have had a few evos over the last couple of years now with TONS of different combonations...now that i got one i thought was crazy and different people call it rice or whatever... not even knowing how fast the car is or anything and people say they liked it better with the stock bumpers....blaaa

 

i myself wanted to be way different....i am more then ok with people not liking it and whatever else but some of the comments are just uncalled for and rude. I guess maybe i am taking it personally cause its been a lot of work...oh well. I love it!!

 

Leave it the way it is. It looks good. Everyone has different taste(or atleast what they think is taste.LOL) and really don't know what they are looking at. The first thing to come out of some of their mouth's is, "it looks rice!." Well it is, it's from Japan.

People are so afraid of being called rice because of ghetto hooked up Honda's that they seem to forget what the real meaning of rice is " a vehicle made in Japan ".
Take the good compliments and move on.

 

Being someone that is a fan of cleaner and understated cars, I have to say that I still love your car. The car does look pretty crazy, but its got the power under the hood, and the suspension to back it up. You're allowed to have a crazy looking car when its backed up by good handling and power. I personally feel that people should be bashing the people who put body kits on stock evos, not the people that build an all out beast. I guess its just jealousy, I know that 9 out of 10 people would kill to be able to drive that thing around... In any case keep up the good work, and please don't sticker it up. You've managed to build a rediculous looking car, but you've still kept it fairly clean, and stickers would ruin it, IMO of course.

Its just hard when i was thinking i broke some ground getting some combos and parts that nobody else had and makeing them work together then to see the bad comments hurts a bit..but all the good comments from everyone makes it all worth while....yes i know as long as i am happy its all good but it still is nice!

Dude, I wouldn't take anything personally on this board. Buncha goofs with stock Evo's are usually ones yelling out "RICE." Car looks awesome. I would never let anyone on a forum sway your decision on your own car.

 

Your car is awsome. If I have the money to do all that i will do it in a hearbeat. Evo's are suppose to be aggresive looking so I like what you have done.

hahaha....i should have better pics with a good camera soon....not sure though as my pistons aren't going to be back from coating for a week or so and we can't actually bolt on the kit till we get that back so we can take the kit off to tow it to slickmotorsports to get the remainder of the mechanical stuff wrapped up

Like you, I didn't much care for the front bumper of ings kit and cyberevo's front end looks so much better imo.
Could you pm me the price on the body kit including the front end set up if you are selling it.
Did you have to remove the rear crash beam in order to fit the bumper.
